The network targets the possible LED based multi-spectral microscopic and macroscopic imaging applications in biomedical diagnosis such as parasite (especially Malaria) detection of blood cells, skin cancer detection, etc. and the study of health conditions and environmental effects on agricultural products and vegetation through the collaboration within and the outside of the network. To achieve those targets, being in this this network intend to:

  • Improvement and customizations (software/hardware) of the microscopic imaging system
  • Share expertise to open new areas for investigations and to support each other to solve problems
  • Sharing results and experience to improve total productivity

The network is financially supported by the International Science Program of Uppsala University, Sweden and Technical & academic support is given by the Applied Molecular Spectroscopy and Remote Sensing group of the Lund University, Sweden.
