Give an overall description of research activities carried out in 2015.
One workshop was organized in M’Bour (Senegal), from 18th to 27th November 2015, on Optical Signal Processing Applied to Spectral Imaging. During this workshop, we have designed and constructed a new version of the multispectral and multimodal microscope. This version uses coherent and monochromatic illuminations and it is fully automated. The participants were trained on this instrument and on optical signal processing with an emphasis on imaging systems.
Give the main research results in 2015.
- Progress in malaria diagnosis by improving the blood cells count and characterization;
- Development of new application of the multispectral and multimodal microscope on plant leaves diseases detection;
- Improvement of the detection and data analysis from the remote sensing system;
